Thing 9

This photography was taken by Joe Penniston.

I can use Flickr for almost any project. It has my pictures that I took when I get it all on there and then I don't have to deal with trying to find my camera and load them on the computer send them in an email or bring it to school.
It concerns me a little bit that the pictures are not private unless i check the boxes because anyone can just take them off the page then and anyone can see them. So like people could easily creep.

Thing 8

I found the Wiki concept really smart. It makes it so much easier to have emails with a few people about important things. I wish I would've known about wiki's before I started school. It would've been easier to list things for my dorm room with my roommates.
I think teachers would actually value from wikis a lot. They could communicate easier than emailing everyone all the time and having a lot of emails in their inbox clogging it up.
I have always found it weird that schools ban wikipedia but I understand because the pages can be altered. It might not always be the right information. But it's a good website to look at because you can at least get an overview.
Yeah I was that "guy" I used wiki sandbox. I decided that I didn't want alter anyone else's document. It seemed pretty easy.
Physical Graffiti, that should be the reason why right there : )

Thing 7

I think Zoho was easier to use. When I started to use it it didn't take me very long to try and figure out. The tools were pretty easy to use-much easier than Google Docs.
I think the founding fathers would think these tools are pretty sweet. It would've made it easier for them to share the document and every read it and not have to come to one place. I don't think the Declaration of Independence. They were some sweet guys back then.

Thing 6

Digg has a lot of websites that you can search for that give a lot of ideas and can inspire to design something creative. It can also help with reputation by if you get enough diggs then your page gets put on the front of the website for millions of people to see and look at. Free and easy publicity. The combining of twitter and reddit saves time so you if you want to share what you found with others you can just post it really fast.

Thing 5

So yet again I have joined Twitter. I lost everything for my first account that I had. So I am out there somewhere in cyber space just with a random twitter...oops. : P I think Twitter is a good thing to have because it's so easy to use and it's sort of like facebook only with just status reports..you can have see where people are and what they are doing.. I think that online blogging and journaling is really unique because it isn't private but it's also I don't know almost random. I can totally see having facebook and a blog affect job applications. Employers don't want someone who uses a lot of fowl words and is a huge partier. Some tools for good are like everything almost. The only way I can see this being bad is if you do something on your own or if someone hacks into your blog or facebook or any other networking site of choice.

Thing 4

I have had facebook for a very long time. It's one of the best networking tools I think there is. I love that I can stay connected better with my friends back home and that go to my school. Facebook also helps with employers because they can easily see what type of a person you are by looking at your page. It's a little bit of a scary thought, but I don't mind. My page isn't much fun to look at. Also for future employers in my field facebook helps connect and network with them easily. Professional networking is a lot different than social networking. Social networking is less work but they can both be equally fun.

Thing 3

I have found that my AI campus account is very useful. I like knowing everything going on at the school and it's easier to find out school activities. It's nice not having problems getting into my ai account and even everything else.
